Marketing & Communications - MarketingThe Association Marketing Team is seeking a Marketing Manager who can spot marketplace trends and opportunities, use research and data analytics to generate insights, and develop and execute marketing plans that support business objectives. The role requires a strong background in D2C marketing, with expertise in creating highly personalized approaches across direct mail, email, and digital channels, and a proven track record of turning insights into campaigns that perform.
The Marketing Manager will support strategic initiatives that optimize performance through test-and-learn and deliver measurable results in support of evolving business goals. The ideal candidate will have a talent for translating insights into clear, actionable direction and partnering with internal and external teams to create and implement compelling, omni-channel approaches aligned with the strategy. The individual will help shape marketing priorities that drive future business growth, including strategies that address changing demographics, perceived product deficiencies, and other factors to increase in-force participation.
The Marketing Manager will:
Maintain deep industry knowledge and monitor marketplace trends to identify growth opportunities; use research and data insights to shape strategy and plans that support business objectives.
Collaborate with internal partners to align annual marketing goals, priorities, timelines, and budgets. Serve as a liaison with external partners, to align integrated acquisition and retention growth plans.
Support the advancement of our data-driven marketing approach alongside the Data/Analytics Team and external partners by identifying opportunities for channel optimization, and buyer segmentation.
Develop marketing plans that align with the business goals and drive future business growth, including those that address changing demographics, perceived product deficiencies, and other factors to increase in-force participation.
Create comprehensive marketing briefs with clear objectives, strategic direction and KPIs; partner with creative and production teams to develop compelling approaches, review materials for accuracy and strategic alignment, and assess performance results to present insights to internal and external partners.
What you'll need:
Proven ability to use research and data to spot trends, identify opportunities, and translate insights into strategy and plans
Proven ability to write strong briefs with clear direction and collaborate across teams to shape the creative approach and ensure materials align to strategy and budget
Experience partnering with internal and external stakeholders to build business cases, secure buy-in, and lead joint strategies or working sessions
Demonstrated ability to drive acquisition and retention outcomes, define lifecycle marketing approaches, optimize performance through test-and-learn, and manage to measurable KPIs
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; ability to build and maintain strong internal and external partnerships.
Strong organizational and time-management skills
It'd be a plus if you have:
Experience in a highly regulated industry; comfort partnering across governance and compliance stakeholders
Experience with analytics tools and reporting platforms
Experience with CRM-enabled journeys
CX and journey mapping training/experience
Experience in the Association/Affinity marketplace
