Dietary Director / Food Service Manager / Executive Chef

We are seeking to hire a Dietary Director / Food Service Manager / Executive Chef.
- $74,800 to $80,000 annuallly based on skills and experience.
- Full-Time plus Every Other Weekend.
Dietary Director / Food Service Manager / Executive Chef Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years in food service management.
- Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) certification required.
- Servsafe certification required.
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Associates Degree in culinary arts and management or successful completion of a reputable course in food service operation, preferred.
- A passion for helping seniors.
- Must be able to operate standard food production equipment.
- Must have solid PC skills: MS Office Suite and other office equipment.
- Excellent communication skills including the ability to speak, write and read English.
Dietary Director / Food Service Manager / Executive Chef Introduction: The Dietary Director is responsible for the development, implementation, supervision, and ongoing evaluation of the dietary program in accordance with State and Federal regulations, to promote nutritional care designed to assist residents in attaining or maintaining their highest practicable well-being.
Dietary Director / Food Service Manager / Executive Chef Job Summary:
- Provide nutrition services according to policies and procedures, and federal and state requirements.
- Oversee the budget and purchasing of food and supplies, and the preparation, service, and storage of food.
- Recruit, interview, hire, train, coach, evaluate, reward, discipline, and terminate employees in cooperation with human resources department as needed.
- Develop work schedules to ensure adequate staff to cover each shift.
- Maintain the food service department and equipment in clean, compliant and working condition.
- Determine resident diet needs and develop appropriate dietary plans in cooperation with Registered Dietitian and in compliance with physician’s orders.
- Work with other members of the interdisciplinary team to ensure that modified texture or therapeutic diets are in compliance with the resident’s medical condition.
- Address all concerns are resolved, improved, or addressed to improve the resident’s nutritional status and eating function.
